ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Fredericke Winkler has more than 20 years of experience working in the textile industry. She studied fashion design in Paris and completed her Masters in Design Studies in Germany. Throughout her career, she has worked as a designer, specialist editor, and art director for fashion and interior magazines and fashion companies. She created trend reports, portrayed numerous textile producers and design studios in Europe and Asia, and wrote market reports. For more than twelve years she taught design theory and corporate strategies at universities. In 2018, Winkler took over the design direction of the interior brand Hodsoll McKenzie from Zimmer + Rohde. Currently, she resides in Berlin with her husband and two children.
